had to go to queen exhibition for uni today... actually quite liked it. lucian freud image was there and it was pretty amazing to see in person. came home and had supernoodles that make me want to vom.
my ipod touch tragically drowned in loch ness last week and i have been living in silence ever since. this is the new shuffle - so small and orange, i don't know why i chose orange or why i got the silly engraving in it but hey i figured it would be perfect for running/ dog walking/ preparing for london 2012 ahem!
anyway hope all is well with everyone/anyone... it's been such a tragic weekend with too many lost souls, my thoughts are with you all
MIX cocoa with oil and sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to batter. Spread mixture into a greased square tin and bake at 180 for 20-25mins depending on size of tin. Cool and cut into squares. Enjoy and take pics of yourself eating looking like a lunatic
Price - No7 is £18 for 30ml or £13 with one of those vouchers
- Origins is £42 for 30ml eeek!
Smell - No7 being very subtle and pretty neutral
-Origins smells kindof musky-ish but natural - may not be so popular
Texture - Origins is more slippery? but both similar and pleasant :)
Packaging - No7 is very err No7, simple and practical
- Origins is pretty simple and organic like - both with pump which is good
Performance - No7, a "cult product" but did nothing for me :S The reviews are wonderful and some users even say that Calm Skin changed their lives! I was definitely disappointed in this but having said that i have no visible broken capillaries so may work better for that. Did leave my skin soft though and was definitely comfortable.
- Origins didn't do anything spectacular for me either :( No visible redness relief but it definitely was calming and soothing. Initially i used it every night before bed, same as No7, but now it's just a once a week thing after a hard day's play work.
Will i be purchasing either of these again? No. I'll definitely use them up or maybe test them on my mum and see if theirs any significant improvements which there may well be as i think these products may be aimed at older chicks so who knows...
i've been going a bit crazy for banana things lately - i think it's cause spring had finally arrived and well bananas are tropical, kindof. the shampoo and conditioner is from the body shop and is absolutely wonderful - a bit of a cult product, apparently, and at £4 very reasonable too. the hand creme is also very lovely and smells just like foam bananas, the sweeties yumyum! not forgetting the earrings which are very cool and also very reasonable at £6 from punkypins.
